French Property Market

For investments it is important to investigate French property market and the capital return on any property investment. Generally in France, the property value increase does not greatly exceed inflation. The market is steadier than the peaks and troughs of other countries' property markets, producing a more sure investment. French property is unlikely to return a quick profit but will hold its own. So, in considering an investment other factors come into play (rental income, benefits of the wondrous civilised life).

France is currently a seller's market due to the recent noticeable increase in foreign investors targeting French property. Although this may eventually increase the French property value, the Purchaser must be weary of the strength of the seller's bargaining power when negotiating property issues.
